Biography:
My name is Alyssa De La O and I grew up on the South Side of San Antonio with my mom, whom is a single parent, and my younger sister. Thanks to the support of my family and former educators, I am the first family member to receive higher than a middle school and high school education. I currently work as the secretary-Associate for the Dean of Admissions for UT Health-San Antonio’s Long School of Medicine. I hope to bring my knowledge and wisdom to my community and inspire them to expand their horizons, whether that be through education, the workforce, or military services.
