Southside Student Empowerment Symposium (SSES)

What is SSES?

The purpose of the Southside Student Empowerment Symposium is to encourage high school
students in the Southside of San Antonio to explore different career opportunities and network
with alumni from the area. Students will take part in three 45-minute workshops during the morning followed by a Guest speaker.

***The target audience will include high schools in the Southside of San Antonio, specifically South San Antonio High School, Southwest High School, Southwest Legacy High School, CAST STEM, Harlandale High School, McCollum High School, Southside High School, Somerset High School and S.T.E.M Early College High School, Edgewood ISD, and Frank L. Madla Early College High School. (If you are not from any of the
listed High schools above, PLEASE NOTE: You are still welcome to join)
