Biography:

My name is Valeria, I’m originally from the Rio Grande Valley located streets away from Mexico. I’m a second year graduate student working towards obtaining my master’s in Public Health. I’m passionate about providing quality healthcare for all and diminishing the health disparities specially surrounding my community, such as language barriers. My ultimate goal is to become a medical doctor, combine my knowledge in medicine and Public health to ultimately be able to prevent diseases rather than having to treat them.
