Biography:

I come from a loving and stable family which has always told me to never forget my humble beginnings and has guided me to be the successful young lady I am today. It is the love and support I received from my family which inspired me to pursue higher education and help others do the same. While in college, I chose to major in Social Work because I enjoy assisting those in my community.
My short term goal is to begin graduate school at the University of Houston in the field of Social Work. Later in life, I will become a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) specializing with children who have mental illnesses and anger management issues. As a LMSW, I will make a difference in lives of those who do not have a voice for themselves.
