How to Access and Rename Yourself on Zoom
1. Join Zoom Meeting: https://zoom.us/j/99425556356?pwd=TkpEeUhnUE9Nd0U5dHhEUzNSUXZPZz09
Meeting ID: 994 2555 6356
Passcode: 645238
2. Click ‘Open Zoom Meetings’ button
3. If you have Zoom Client installed, you may click ‘launch meeting’. Otherwise, click ‘download and run Zoom’
4. After joining the meeting, tap on the Participants tab at the Zoom app’s bottom
5. Hover your mouse over your name
6. Click ‘Rename’
6. Depending on the session you chose at registration, place the first letter of that career in the front of your name

  • As examples for someone named Mary Rodriguez
    • Rename to DMary Rodriguez for those attending what is a doctor session
    • Rename to EMary Rodriguez for those attending what is an engineer session
    • Rename to LMary Rodriguez for those attending what is an lawyer session

What is SSES?

The purpose of the Southside Student Empowerment Symposium is to encourage high school
students in the Southside of San Antonio to explore different career opportunities and network
with alumni from the area. Students will take part in three 45-minute workshops during the morning followed by a Guest speaker.

What is a Lawyer?

***The target audience will include high schools in the Southside of San Antonio, specifically South San Antonio High School, Southwest High School, Southwest Legacy High School, CAST STEM, Harlandale High School, McCollum High School, Southside High School, Somerset High School and S.T.E.M Early College High School, Edgewood ISD, and Frank L. Madla Early College High School. (If you are not from any of the
listed High schools above, PLEASE NOTE: You are still welcome to join)
