This May marks the close of our 7th year of programming at Building A Purpose, and what a year it has been. Each season of growth reminds us why our mission matters: to create spaces where students can learn, dream, and build pathways toward their future.
Over the past year, we have seen our students rise to challenges with determination and resilience. From classrooms to mentorship sessions, from community events to leadership opportunities, every moment has been proof that when we invest in our young people, they rise to meet the occasion. Our families, mentors, and partners have stood beside them every step of the way, making sure that support, guidance, and encouragement are always within reach.
As we prepare to pause for the summer, we want to remind our students how proud we are of all you’ve accomplished. Your hard work does not go unnoticed, and your journey is only beginning. Summer is a time to rest, recharge, and enjoy the season but it’s also a time to make choices that keep you safe and moving forward. Whether it’s spending time with family, exploring your passions, or preparing for the next school year, remember that every decision you make shapes the future you’re building.
