Housed in the San Antonio Chamber of Commerce, Amanda is the Deputy Director of CyberSecurity San Antonio. In this role, Amanda organizes San Antonio’s 300-member cybersecurity community around five core focus areas: innovation and economic development, military and government affairs, global engagement, talent and workforce development, and sustainability. Through public-private partnerships, the CyberSecurity San Antonio ecosystem speaks with one voice, and moves forward with one mission.

Founded in 2017, Javilud transforms innovation through consulting services, events, and creative collaborations at the intersection of people, politics, technology, and art. Through Javilud, Amanda created the What in the World?! event series. Launched in July 2018, the WITW event series showcases women in international affairs, educates the public about global issues, and elevates diverse and undervalued voices.

In Washington, D.C., Amanda served as a political appointee at the White House during the Obama administration. There, Amanda advised the Federal Chief Information Officer, and implemented cyber and IT policy across the Federal government. Before her time at the Office of Management and Budget, Amanda led digital marketing initiatives at the Henry J. Kaiser Family Foundation, and served as community relations manager at the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) National Office.

Amanda earned her MA in Global Communication from The George Washington University in Washington, DC, and her BA in Russian Studies from Smith College in Northampton, Massachusetts.
