Biography:

My name is Elizabeth Haro and I have grown up in San Antonio, Texas. I am a second year MPH student with a concentration in Epidemiology. Currently, I work at the South Texas Veterans Health Care System in health services research. We carry out research looking at where Veterans with PTSD are getting care, whether that is at the VA or in the community, and the types of services that are received across settings. My goals are to pursue a PhD to focus on improving health care outcomes for Latinos with chronic diseases.
